According to the latest report from CCTV News, in the early morning of the 12th local time, Israel launched an attack on Iran, with continuous explosions heard in Tehran, the capital of Iran.  


The Israeli Air Force is launching air strikes on dozens of targets in Iran related to nuclear programs and other military facilities, naming the operation "Strength of the Lion". The Israeli Prime Minister stated that the military operation against Iran's nuclear facilities will continue for several days until the threat is eliminated.  


Subsequently, Iran began to retaliate. Global Times cited media reports that the Israeli city of Tel Aviv was attacked, including 10 nuclear facilities. The Israeli Defense Forces said Iran launched more than 100 drones into Israel, and air defense systems are countering Iranian drones.  


Following the news, crude oil surged, safe - haven assets such as gold rose significantly, and global stock markets collectively fell.

- International oil prices continued to rise, with Brent and WTI once surging 10%.

Spot gold returns above $3,400 per ounce.

Global stock markets fell, with the three major U.S. stock index futures falling by more than 1%, and the Nasdaq 100 futures falling by 1.6%. The Nikkei 225 Index and the TSE Index fell to 1%. South Korea's Seoul Composite Index fell to 1%.



Bond yields fell, with Japan's 5-year Treasury bond yield falling by 5 basis points to 0.96%. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield fell by 4 basis points to 4.32%.


In addition, the yen's gain against the U.S. dollar expanded to 0.4%. The Israeli new shekel fell more than 3% against the U.S. dollar to 3.6650, its lowest level since April 22.
