India announces: surpassing Japan to become the fourth largest economy in the world

The National Transformation Commission, a policy think tank supported by the Indian government, said India has surpassed Japan to become the fourth largest economy in the world. The committee's CEO Subramaniam said at a press conference that India's economy has grown to $4 trillion, second only to the United States, China and Germany.
