The 46th ASEAN Summit Opens at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

On the morning of May 26 local time, the 46th ASEAN Summit officially opened in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. As the rotating chairman of this year's ASEAN summit, Malaysia proposed the annual theme "Inclusiveness and Sustainability". According to the agenda of the meeting, this summit will focus on issues such as the vision of the ASEAN community, the official joining of East Timor to ASEAN and the situation in Myanmar, and will focus on challenges in areas such as green development and digital transformation.

ASEAN was established in 1967 and its member states include 10 countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, Vietnam, Laos and Myanmar.
