U.S. President Donald Trump said in a video address on March 1 local time that the United States and Israel will continue military operations against Iran until all objectives are achieved. Iranian Foreign Minister **Seyed Abbas Araghchi** stated the same day that Iran will decide when and how this war of aggression imposed by the U.S. and Israel will end.

Earlier that day, the U.S. military announced that three American service members had been killed in operations against Iran. The three died in an Iranian retaliatory strike on a U.S. military base in Kuwait, according to reports. Trump later posted a video on social media vowing “revenge” while warning that more U.S. casualties are possible.

Trump said the military campaign against Iran “remains in full force until all our goals are met.” He threatened members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and police to lay down their arms “or face certain death,” while again calling for regime change inside Iran.

In a social media post on March 1, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi said Iran has studied U.S. military failures for the past 20 years, and U.S.-Israeli bombings of the Iranian capital Tehran will not affect Iran’s war-fighting capabilities.

Araghchi stated that Iran’s decentralized, distributed **“Mosaic Defense”** system enables Iran to determine when and how the war will end.

On February 28, the U.S. and Israel launched large-scale airstrikes against Iran, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several senior military and political officials. Iran subsequently retaliated against U.S. military bases in the Gulf region and Israel, with the conflict spilling over into several Middle Eastern countries.
