Pakistani crypto regulator encourages global companies to enter the potential 40 million user market
Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (PVARA) calls on global cryptocurrency companies to apply for local licenses. The regulator’s invitation targets globally renowned crypto companies that have obtained licenses in major jurisdictions such as the United States, the European Union or Singapore. The Ministry of Finance statement stressed that licensing requirements will be consistent with international best practices to ensure consumer protection, anti-money laundering compliance (AML) and financial stability.
