UK FCA intends to exempt some cryptoasset companies from traditional financial rules
According to Foresight News, according to the Financial Times, when the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) plans to formally manage crypto companies in 2026, the exemption part does not apply to the traditional financial rules of the industry, including requirements for management, system control and "cooling-off period" to adapt to the high volatility of crypto assets. The FCA said it will strengthen relevant supervision such as network security to ensure that it matches actual risks.
