Ondo tokenized stocks are officially launched, supporting more than 100 stocks and ETFs for the first launch

According to BlockBeats, on September 4, according to official news, Ondo Global Markets has been officially launched, providing 24/7 instant access to tokenized US stocks, ETFs and other securities for overseas investors, and enjoying traditional market liquidity and institutional protection. Non-US investors can buy and sell 100 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs (restricted by jurisdictions, etc.), and are planned to expand to more than 1,000 by the end of the year - marking the largest issuance of tokenized equity assets in history. Ondo tokenized stocks are now listed on Ethereum and will soon expand to networks such as BNB Chain, Solana, and Ondo Chain.


It is reported that Ondo tokenized stocks are fully mortgaged by spot securities and cash held by registered US brokers. Users outside the United States can instantly mint, redemption and transfer (transfers all day, minting/redemption are connected to liquidity according to market time periods) on 365 days, supporting participation in lending in the DeFi agreement.
