Ukrainian parliament supports the passage of crypto legalization and taxation bill
According to Foresight News, the Ukrainian parliament passed the first reading of the cryptocurrency legalization and taxation bill on Wednesday. Councilman Yaroslav Zhelezniak said the bill passed the first reading by 246 votes. The bill stipulates that an income tax of 18% and a 5% military tax on digital assets will be imposed, and a preferential tax rate of 5% will be obtained for the first year of fiat currency exchange. "The details are not very meaningful at present, and there will be many adjustments before the second reading. Whether the regulator is a National Bank or the National Securities and Stock Market Committee is still not determined."
