Vietnam launches national blockchain platform NDAChain for digital authentication and record management
According to Foresight News, Vietnam launched the national blockchain platform NDAChain, which will serve as the core infrastructure of its digital ecosystem. NDAChain is developed by the National Data Association of Vietnam (NDA) and operated by the Ministry of Public Security’s Data Innovation and Development Center. The platform adopts Proof of Authority (PoA) consensus protocol, is equipped with zero-knowledge proof technology to enhance security, and has 49 public-private joint venture verification nodes, including state agencies and SunGroup, Zalo, Masan and other enterprises participating in network security maintenance.
The blockchain network will provide a decentralized trust layer for areas such as e-government, finance, healthcare, logistics and education. Meanwhile, NDAChain will support NDA DID decentralized identity solutions for counterparty authentication and digital contract signing. The government said the NDAKey app will implement second-level identity verification, aiming to prevent fraud and digital identity theft. Nguyen Huy, head of NDA, said the blockchain will become a protective layer of the country's real-time data and is crucial to the digital society and economic development.
