Bullish Aim, a telecom company backed by Malaysia’s crown prince, launches ringgit stablecoin RMJDT
According to Foresight News, according to Bloomberg, the eldest son of the King of Malaysia is launching a stable currency linked to the country’s legal currency, targeting the cross-border payment market in the Asia-Pacific region. Telecommunications company Bullish Aim on Tuesday announced the launch of RMJDT – a new stablecoin backed by the Malaysian ringgit. The company is owned by Prince Ismail Ibrahim, a member of the Johor royal family and current king of Malaysia. The stablecoin will be issued on the Layer 1 blockchain Zetrix. In addition to issuing stablecoins, Bullish Aim will establish a digital asset treasury (DAT) company and use Zetrix (ZETRIX) tokens of RM500 million (approximately US$121.5 million) as the initial treasury asset allocation.
