Binance has received full regulatory authorization from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Abu Dhabi Global Markets
According to Foresight News, Binance has obtained full regulatory authorization from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), becoming the first crypto exchange to obtain a global license under the ADGM framework. Starting from 16:00 on January 5, 2026, Binance services will be provided through three entities licensed by ADGM, each of which plays a specific role according to its regulatory authority. Nest Exchange Services Limited: As a "recognized investment trading platform (licensed to operate multilateral trading facilities)" responsible for all trading platform related activities, including spot and derivatives trading; Nest Clearing and Custody Limited: As a "recognized clearing house (approved to provide custody services)", it is responsible for clearing and settlement, as the central counterparty for derivatives transactions on the trading platform, and to ensure the security of users' digital assets; Nest Trading Limited: As a "broker-dealer", it is responsible for OTC trading activities and self-operated services (for example, OTC trading, flash exchange, financial management). This structure essentially echoes the traditional financial regulatory structure, strengthening risk control through separation of responsibilities and establishing a clear user protection mechanism.
Previously, all Binance services were mainly provided by Nest Services Limited (which will be renamed "Nest Exchange Limited" after obtaining the license). From 5 January 2026, these services will be provided by Nest Exchange Services Limited, Nest Clearing and Custody Limited and Nest Trading Limited.
