According to Foresight News, Grégory Raymond tweeted that Christian Rau, head of Mastercard's European crypto cryptocurrency, said in an interview recently that Mastercard is paying close attention to crypto assets, but will not deviate from the established direction. "Our strategy has never changed in 50 years: cryptocurrency is part of this logic by enabling people to pay safely and compliantly, allowing businesses to collect payments. We are not going to completely revamp the system, but enrich it. We prioritize interoperability with existing solutions. But if no solution meets our needs, we might consider self-development."
