PayPal allows U.S. merchants to accept payments in more than 100 cryptocurrencies

According to Foresight News, according to Fortune, PayPal announced the launch of a new payment service to small and medium-sized merchants in the United States, supporting payments in more than 100 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin and Ethereum. The service will be available through PayPal’s online payment processing platform, with a transaction rate of 0.99% in the first year and adjusted to 1.5% from the following year. During the transaction settlement process, the user can connect the existing cryptocurrency wallet to the payment page. The system will convert the cryptocurrency into PayPal stablecoin PYUSD through Binance or a decentralized exchange, and then convert it into US dollars to pay to the merchant.
