Millions of people in the West African country have used cryptocurrencies. Ghana's central bank is finalizing a regulatory framework that is planned to be submitted to parliament for consideration in September, the Ghana central bank said. The proposed law will enable the country to make the most of cryptocurrencies, promote cross-border trade, attract strategic investments, and collect financial data.
