The first partners include Mercado Pago, NPCI International Payments Limited (UPI), and Tenpay Global. PayPal World is expected to be available this fall, and all partners can interoperate with PayPal and Venmo. The platform aims to support further interoperability of partner wallets in the future, thereby further expanding cross-border coverage and acceptance. PayPal World leverages open commerce APIs to solve the complexity of cross-border commerce through cloud-native, multi-regional deployment architectures, ensuring low latency and high availability worldwide.
