Square will launch native Bitcoin payment services for some merchants

According to Foresight News, Jack Dorsey announced on the X platform that its payment company Square will launch native Bitcoin payment services for its first batch of merchants. Previously, they tried to use the Lightning Network for fast, low-cost transactions at the Bitcoin 2025 conference in Las Vegas in May 2025.
