Some large U.S. banks plan to launch stablecoins
According to Foresight News, Reuters reported that several large U.S. financial institutions, including Bank of America and Citibank, are planning to launch stablecoins. Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan said the bank is promoting the launch of stablecoins, and investors can expect the bank to advance plans, but did not disclose a specific timetable; Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser also said that it is possible to issue stablecoins to facilitate digital payments. "We are considering issuing Citi stablecoin, which is a good opportunity for us."
