EU to allocate nearly 1 billion euros to multiple renewable hydrogen production projects

The European Commission announced on May 20 local time that it has selected 15 renewable hydrogen energy production projects within the European Economic Area and provided them with a total of 992 million euros of public financial support. These projects are distributed in five countries and are expected to produce nearly 2.2 million tons of renewable hydrogen energy in the next ten years and reduce emissions by more than 15 million tons.
