AMINA has been extended the Hong Kong SFC Type 1 license to provide compliant crypto trading and custody
PANews reported on November 18 that according to Business Wire, Swiss crypto bank AMINA (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. was upgraded to the Type 1 license of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), becoming the first international banking group to provide crypto spot trading and asset custody to professional investors in Hong Kong. The service covers 24/7 trading, custody, and deposit and withdrawal of crypto assets to whitelist addresses. It initially supports 13 crypto assets (including BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT and mainstream DeFi tokens), and adopts SOC 1/2 Type 2 level infrastructure. AMINA said it will expand to private equity fund management, structured products, derivatives and RWA tokenization in the future, targeting institutions, enterprises and high-net-worth customers.
