On November 5th, Dr. Han, Founder and CEO of Gate, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "Lessons I Learned in Crypto" at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), followed by a fireside chat with Professor Shi Jiaoli, Associate Vice-President of HKUST. This marked Dr. Han’s return to campus after 12 years. In the roles of an entrepreneur and industry practitioner, he shared his thoughts and experiences in the crypto space with the younger generation, attracting over 100 university students and young entrepreneurs. In his speech, Dr. Han reviewed Gate’s growth journey since its establishment—from its initial exploration of the crypto industry, to weathering the tests of market cycles, and to gradually realizing its global layout. He pointed out that the crypto industry is evolving at a rapid pace, and the keys to long-term stable development lie in maintaining keen insight, responding quickly to market changes, and advancing both technology and compliance in parallel. "Every wave brings new opportunities as well as new challenges," he said, encouraging students to keep an open mind and embrace innovative concepts. Meanwhile, he also shared Gate’s experiences in product iteration and ecosystem development, and demonstrated its practical achievements in setting industry benchmarks.
