Tether releases financial report for the first three quarters, with net profit exceeding US$10 billion

According to Foresight News, Tether Attestatio released its financial report for the first three quarters of 2025. As of the end of the third quarter of 2025, the company's year-to-date net profit exceeded US$10 billion. Tether had more than 500 million global users as of September 30, 2025, and had $6.8 billion in excess reserves as a financial cushion, according to a report compiled by accounting firm BDO. Newly issued USDT this year has exceeded $17 billion, and the total USDT circulation has exceeded $174 billion. Tether’s total exposure to U.S. Treasuries (direct and indirect) reached an all-time high of approximately $135 billion, making it one of the world’s largest holders of U.S. government debt and 17th in the country rankings, surpassing South Korea. In addition, Tether holds gold and Bitcoin reserves of $12.9 billion and $9.9 billion respectively, accounting for approximately 13% of total reserves. The financial report shows that the company’s total liabilities are US$174.445 billion, of which US$174.357 billion is related to issued digital tokens. As of the end of the third quarter, Tether’s assets were worth $6.778 billion more than its liabilities.
